Information from Camper Registration Packet for
2017 Hanford Bible Camp
CAMP FEE:
Camp Fee is $175.00 per camper. Registration along with Full Payment or $90.00 non-refundable
deposit must be received by Sunday, July 16, 2017. These fees are for the first two campers in the same
family. If there are three or more from the same family then the fee is $160.00 per camper.
A Snack Shack is open during limited times of the day during camp. Your registration includes a ten
($10) dollar credit for the snack shack.
The camp fee includes: lodging, food (three meals daily), liability insurance, Bible class materials, craft
materials, $10 credit for snack shack, camp group picture and t-shirt.
Registration & Deposit:
We accept registrations on a "first come, first serve" basis. It is very important that parents / guardians
complete the Medical Information Sheet and sign the Registration. Your child is NOT registered until all
requested information is on the form. Mail with full payment of $175.00 or $90.00 non-refundable
deposit to Camp Director, Church of Christ, 1596 W. Grangeville Blvd., Hanford, CA 93230. Please
make checks payable to Church of Christ with camp fee in the notation.
IMPORTANT! * Any remaining fees are DUE upon arrival and check - in at Camp.
TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM CAMP:
Parents/guardians are responsible for bringing your children to and from camp. YBC is located just
off Highway 41, about five miles above Oakhurst on Road 632. You'll see a sign for Sierra Sky Ranch at
that junction. The mailing address is: Hanford Camp, c/o Yosemite Bible Camp, 50869 Rd. 632,
Oakhurst, CA 93644.
IMPORTANT!! READ THIS CAREFULLY!
When you arrive at camp, please park on the softball field. The fire roads must be kept clear of traffic at
all times. Check in time is 1:30 - 4:00 PM, Sunday July 30, 2017. The first meal will be Sunday
evening. Pick up time is 9:30 AM, Saturday, August 5, 2017. Please park in the Church of Christ
parking lot on Rd. 632. The gate will be opened when the clean up inspection is completed.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP:
A Bible, notebook, pencils, stationery, postage stamps, sports equipment, gloves etc., things for campfire
performances, sleeping bag or twin size blankets, pillow and case, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, towels,
washcloths and any other personal hygiene and grooming articles. Campers are expected to shower daily!
Clothing for a week--note the dress code, Swimsuit and a knee length wrap for going to and from the
pool.
Please MARK all your things with your NAME for identification.

Friday night we will be having "Game Night" as our dress up gathering. Campers and
staff are encouraged to dress in a way that fits the theme, but also allows them to relax and
get involved in a series of fun and interactive games.

BASIC CAMP RULES:
The Camp Director, under the direction of the Hanford Church of Christ Elders has authority for the
camp. Our rules are for the safety and welfare of each camper. Jesus has given us the "golden rule" when
he said "... Do to other what you would have them do to you." Matthew 7:12. This is the foundation for
all our rules.
The Dress Code is "modest" dress. You may wear shorts, but make sure they are modest. That is
defined as no short shorts and no skintight materials such as Spandex © or Lycra ©. Your shirts must
have sleeves and be long enough to cover your body. (No bare midriffs) T-shirts should not have any
messages or advertisements that could be considered un-Christ like. If any staff member deems you to be
not dressed appropriately you will be asked to change.
Footwear: Shoes must be worn at all times outside of the cabin area (to the showers). Flip - flops and
open toed sandals or shoes cannot be worn.
Do NOT bring:
 IPods or other electronic music devices,
 Game-Boys or other electronic game devices,
 Cell phones,
 Expensive jewelry,
 Expensive sunglasses,
 Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or tobacco,
 Fireworks, matches or cigarette lighters,
 Weapons of any kind or a Bad Attitude.
Curfew is 10:00 PM. This must be observed for the rest and health of the campers, staff and the peace
and quiet for the nearby neighbors. Lights out at 10:00 PM and quiet time is to be observed with all
campers inside their cabins!

Dear Camper Parents,
Thank you for sending your child to Hanford’s Camp at Y.B.C. Please read the application forms with
your children. There are some things that are very important to you both. Be sure they understand the
rules and the list of things to leave at home and have them sign in your presence. Any unauthorized items
will be confiscated and held until camp is over. We will not be responsible for these items. If your child
drives him or herself to camp, their car keys must be turned in to the director and the car will remain
locked during the week of camp.
*NOTE: Please do not bring your campers to Y.B.C. before 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017.
You will drive on to the softball field to drop off your camper and unload your vehicle. We do not want
to block the fire roads around the cabins.
Pick up day, Saturday, August 5, 2017, 9:30 a.m.

This will expedite the process of getting everyone to and from camp in the most efficient manner. Thank
