A permitted calculator may be used on the ACT mathematics
test only. It is your responsibility to know whether your
calculator is permitted. For the most current information on

A watch to pace yourself (no smart watches or fitness bands
with a watch). Not all rooms have clocks.
Snacks to eat outside of the test room during break.
What NOT to Bring
ANY electronic devices with recording, internet, or
communication capabilities.
Reading materials, dictionaries, notes, or scratch paper
Highlighters, correction fluid, colored pencils, or other aids
On Test Day
You must be at your test center by the "Reporting Time" listed
above. Dismissal is about 12:15 pm for the ACT (no writing),
or 1:15 pm for the ACT with writing.
Important: You cannot handle or activate any electronic
device from the time you are admitted to the testing room
until you are dismissed, including during break time. This
includes cell phones, smart watches, fitness bands, and other
electronic devices.
