EMERGENCY PLAN COORDINATORS

TORNADO WATCH: conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms
to form, but it also means that a few storms may be capable of producing a
tornado.

TORNADO WARNING: a tornado is either occurring or imminent based
on radar.

WHEN A WATCH IS ISSUED:
 Text/Call is issued to all Emergency Coordinators
 Immediately secure individuals in police custody in lockup
WHEN A WARNING IS ISSUED:
 Text sent to all personnel on duty
 All officers must contact commander

 Immediately secure Duty/Visitor Log
 Each unit is responsible for their log
 Assist civilians to a safe room
 Instruct to protect from flying debris
 Lockup is a safe room
 Instruct those in custody to protect from flying debris
