slept entirely too little and consumed copious
amounts of Red Bull.

Bose Merchandising Agent; December 2014 - present
This job is mostly spent visiting various Targets and Best Buys
around Richmond to make sure the Bose displays are in tip
top shape, something I like to think I’m pretty good at. Visual
merchandising can be an art, and I’ve been told before that I
have a great eye for design. Not only do I get to hone my visual
eye, but I’m also gaining very valuable people skills. I get asked
quite often where the bathroom is or if they have any more
iPhone 6s in the back, despite wearing a Polo that clearly says
“Bose” on it. The only questions I can answer pertain to Bose
and I don’t think rest rooms fall into that category.

Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator are
some of my best friends. We also hang out
with Final Cut Pro and iMovie regularly.
Mac OSX is my preferred operating system
but if I must, I can use Windows as well.
Microsoft Office has nothing on me.
HTML and I are pretty good acquaintances,
but I should call them more often.
Social networks are my jam. I can efficiently
and effectively work any relevant social
media site, and definitely some off-theradar sites too.
I have a Klout score of 55.40 if that means
anything to you.
I don’t often tell people, but I’m an
extremely talented knitter and would love
to knit you a scarf.
If for some reason you suddenly go
into cardiac arrest, I could save you; I’m
certified in CPR and AED.
I change the oil in my car myself and can
successfully change a flat tire.

Photography & Film Office Assistant; August 2014 - present
Even though being an office assistant sounds like the most
boring job on the face of the planet, I gained an unbelievable
amount of experience in the art world. I got to witness first hand
the creation of some great art, which has directly influenced
the use of color and text in my work. Not only that, but simply
observing and listening to the people around me has informed
the way I approach a project and concept. So I’ll take the parents
calling about their high school students’ portfolios any day,
because it’s just one more thing I can use in my work.

Swim Club Management Group: Richmond/
Douglas Aquatics
Manager; May 2008 - August 2013
I spent this past summer protecting the lives of the patrons of
Richmond Country Club. It was a big responsibility, making sure
Richmond’s elite were safe while swimming, but I was up to the
task. That responsibility came with a few more duties which
included arranging pool deck loungers and cleaning bathrooms.
While cleaning bathrooms sounds unglamorous, this job gave
me the skills to better manage and work with people, as well
as delegate tasks to my team of 10-15 high schoolers, I mean
lifeguards.
