Great Beyonder Album Launch

‘Great Beyonder’, Glenn Skuthorpe’s much anticipated fourth album, takes listeners on a
musical road trip across lives lived hard and fast, slow and raw. With its roots, country and blues
influences, ‘Great Beyonder’ displays Glenn’s distinctive songwriting talent that has received
acclaim by audiences and reviewers.
A mix of genres and musical influences, ‘Great Beyonder’ ranges from the lyrical ballad ‘Life of
a rose’, to the rocking ‘Smokin’ and ‘Rage on’.
Produced by Glenn Skuthorpe, Martin Hailey and Douglas Petherick, ‘Great Beyonder’
showcases some of Australia’s most highly revered country and roots musicians including
Martin Hailey, Clare O’Meara, Anthony Pak Poy, Jon Howell, Kevin Hailey, Tim Curnick,
Grayson Rotumah, Jardine Kiwat and Douglas Petherick. The Australia Council and Arts SA
both contributed support for the album’s recording.
Glenn Skuthorpe will be touring outback New South Wales and Queensland in mid 2013,
travelling back to his old stomping ground of Goodooga, Lightening Ridge and Cunnamulla.
Glenn will also be touring to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane early in 2013.
